The Business Licence Bylaw requires that all businesses operating in the District of Central Saanich be in possession of a valid business licence. This requirement applies to all commercial, industrial, home-based and non-resident businesses operating within the municipality.

New regulations require all commercial businesses that are physically located in Central Saanich, but that also carry on business in other municipalities to obtain both a commercial and intermunicipal licence. Contact 544-4217 for more information. |
Renewal notices are now mailed to all businesses that were licenced the previous year. Business licence fees are due and payable on the first business day of January each year, or the date of application for a new business licence, if later.
Please note that all business signs must also be approved by the municipality through the sign permit process.
