Current Vacancies

The District does not have any current vacancies available for its Advisory Committees. The recruitment process commences in mid-October each year and Council aims to make a decision in December/January for the various positions. An Advisory Committee Application Form can be completed and submitted for consideration to Council.

Community Volunteers

Additionally, community volunteers are often needed to assist in a number of special parks projects, ranging from removal of broom and ivy from parks and trails, to native planting, to longer term initiatives, such as the Restoration of Butterfield Gardens and the Stabilization of the Newman Farm buildings.  Please call Bonnie McKenzie, Manager of Community Services at 250-544-4219 for more information or complete the General Volunteer Application form and return it to the Municipal Hall.
