The Chair of the Parks and Facilities Committee is Councillor Ron Kubek.  This Committee meets to discuss the following matters:

• Matters related to Central Saanich's participation in the Peninsula Recreation Commission
• Municipal Hall (including Fire and Police), Public Works Yard, Library, Cultural Centre, Senior Citizens Complex, and other civic facilities and properties used for community or recreation purposes
• Planning and development of Municipal parks and grounds
• Boys' and Girls' Club
• Implementation of recommendations arising from the Parks Master Plan
• Caretaker's residence at Centennial Park
• Economic development
• Tourism promotion
