Annual property tax notices are mailed every May.  To avoid a penalty, payments must be received by the Finance Department on or before the due date as indicated on the property tax notice.  Unpaid taxes after the due date will be charged a 10% penalty.

The due date for 2010 Property Taxes is July 2, 2010.

Taxes can be paid by cash, cheque, or debit card.  To set-up online or telephone payment, contact your financial institution.  The municipality does not accept credit cards.

The municipality also offers a convenient pre-authorized payment plan.

Tax Deferment

The BC Government offers a Property Tax Deferment Program to eligible taxpayers.  Applications are available at the municipal hall.
