Centennial Park is a 18.42 hectare park, located in the 7500 block of Wallace Drive, in Saanichton.  This community park was created in 1958 to commemorate the establishment of British Columbia as a Crown Colony 100 years earlier.  Since then, the park has grown in size and has a wide array of features including: 2 sports fields (6 ball diamonds); 3 concessions (open seasonally); children's playground; skate park; 3 picnic shelters; caretaker's residence; lawn bowling green and club house; lacrosse box; 2 tennis courts; walking trails; natural areas and a fieldhouse (with public washrooms).

A Park Caretaker provides on-site park security, as well as, cleaning of the Fieldhouse.  The caretaker's residence is located immediately north of the lacrosse box, at 1785 Hovey Road.

Graham Creek flows along the western boundary of Centennial Park.  Efforts to restore and enhance the creek have been made in recent years in partnership with the Hagan Creek - KENNES Watershed Project.  Works have included installation of fencing along the creekside trail, interpretive signage and planting of native species within the riparian zone.

• Horses and dogs are not permitted on playfields, children's play areas or in picnic sites.
• Your help in needed to preserve and protect our natural areas and wildlife...please stay on designated trails and keep dogs under control while visiting Centennial Park.
