Election 2026: Your Community, Your Vote
General local elections in Central Saanich are held every four years.
General Voting Day
October 17, 2026
8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.
Residents may choose to vote at:
- Central Saanich Municipal Hall, 1903 Mt Newton Cross Road
- Brentwood Elementary, 7085 Wallace Drive
- Keating Elementary, 6843 Central Saanich Road
Advance Voting Days
Wednesday, October 7 and 14, 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m., Municipal Hall, 1903 Mt Newton Cross Rd
You will be able to cast a vote for a 4-year office term (2026-2030) for:
• MAYOR (1 to be elected)
• COUNCILLOR (6 to be elected)
• SCHOOL TRUSTEE (2 to be elected) for School District No. 63

- Nomination packages available the last week of July 2026 (details to come)
- Candidate nomination period: September 1–11, 2026
- Declaration of Candidates: September 11, 2026, 4:00 p.m.
- Deadline to withdrawal of candidates: September 18, 2026, 4:00 p.m.
- Start of Campaign Period: September 19, 2026
- Advance voting: October 7 and October 14, 2026
- Election Day: Saturday, October 17, 2026
- Declaration of Official Election Results: October 21, 2026, 4:00 p.m.
- Inaugural Council Meeting: November 2, 2026
- Campaign Financial Disclosure Statement filing deadline: January 15, 2027
