Freedom of Information

Freedom of Information

The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act is provincial legislation that provides the public with a right of access to government records and protects personal privacy by prohibiting the unauthorized collection, use or disclosure of personal information by public bodies.

The District's Freedom of Information Bylaw  provides for the District's administration of FOIPPA, and it outlines associated fees to be paid under S.75 of the Act.

Routinely Available Records

Routinely available records, such as Council/Committee agendas or minutes, bylaws, publications, policies and procedures, and information related to your property are most often available online. Alternatively, you could submit the information request form or contact the appropriate department directly. If applicable, please include the executed Property Owner's Authorization or Property Listing agreement with your request.
