Public Hearing - 918 Clarke Rd & 7256 East Saanich Rd

A public hearing will take place on Monday, July 8, 2019, at 6:30 p.m. at the Central Saanich Municipal Hall, 1903 Mt. Newton Cross Road, Saanichton, BC, with regard to the following proposed Bylaws:
Land Use Bylaw Amendment Bylaw No.1998 & Development Variance Permit 3090-20-3/19 for the application at 918 Clarke Road from Residential Two Family (R-2) to Single Family Residential Infill (R-1XS) to rezone a portion into two infill lots for single family dwellings, retaining the remaining R2 zone to be developed for a duplex. A variance is requested to reduce the required lot frontage of the duplex lot from 26m to 20m.
Land Use Bylaw Amendment Bylaw No.1999 & No. 2000 for the application at 7256 East Saanich Road from Large Lot Single Family Residential (R-1) to Small Lot Single Family Residential (R-1S) for the purpose of creating one new single family lot. The existing house would remain and receive Heritage Designation. The existing detached garage would be removed to situate the proposed new dwelling in generally the same area.
Anyone who believes their interest in property is affected by the proposed bylaws will have an opportunity to be heard or to present letters.
