Grant in Aid Program
The Grant in Aid Program provides modest seed funding for new initiatives or special projects each year. Applications are due by the third Friday in September and Council usually considers them in October. Grant awards are for the following year and usually paid in June. Please read our Grant Policy (see Documents, above) for more information.
Council would like to see applications related to: sustainability, emergency preparedness and accessibility.
Permissive Tax Exemptions
Permissive tax exemptions are generally provided to non-profit organizations on a multi-year basis (provided circumstances don’t change during the term).
Please note: Organizations already in receipt of an exemption must submit a renewal application (see Related, above) by August 31 of each year.
Send an application form (see Documents, above) and a letter of introduction by the third Friday of September to:

All requests shall be subject to the availability of sufficient funding within the District's Annual Operating Budget.
