Are you interested in running for Office?

The next general local election will be held on October 17, 2026. The elected candidates will serve a four-year term ending in October 2030.

The candidate nomination period runs September 1–11, 2026. Nomination packages are now available by contacting elections@csaanich.ca or by requesting one in person at Municipal Hall. 

School District Trustee Election

Electors will also vote to elect two School Trustees for School District No. 63 (Saanich). The District of Central Saanich administers the trustee election on behalf of the School District. Nomination packages, filing requirements, and nomination deadlines for School Trustee candidates are the same as those for municipal candidates.
