The Central Saanich 2021 COVID-19 Safe Non-profit Restart Grant program is focused on charitable, philanthropic and not-for-profit organizations providing core community services during COVID-19. Grants are generally intended for not-for-profit organizations providing a direct benefit to the citizens of the District. The Program Application Process is used in determining eligibility for grants.
Eligible costs are response and recovery costs related to COVID-19 and include, but are not limited to, the following:
- facility reopening and operating costs;
- emergency planning and response costs;
- programs for vulnerable populations; and
- budgeted revenues that have not been collected.
All Grant requests shall be subject to the availability of sufficient funding within the District’s Annual Operating Budget. The maximum allowable grant is $7,500.
