The District has been drafting policy and design guidelines to help shape future housing needs in Central Saanich. These will ultimately be incorporated into our Official Community Plan to guide our community for the next 20 years.
This work incorporates feedback heard during public consultation last spring—many residents talked of wanting carriage homes and small lot infill, particularly for young families and seniors; we also heard about wanting to maintain green space, walkability, privacy and addressing parking needs (to name a few).
