Sept 21 and Oct 5: Climate Speaker Series Focuses on Rebates

The District of Central Saanich is launching a free Climate Speakers Series in partnership with local experts and businesses. The focus of these sessions is to help residents become more aware of ways to reduce their carbon footprint while also saving money.

The first two topics are in response to local resident feedback and based on the community’s two highest sources of emissions: transportation and buildings.

Climate Friendly Homes and Rebates

Learn about options and rebates to retrofit your home or business from local experts as well as learn about solar power. Bonus! Get a tour of our solar powered Fire Station.

Go Electric: E-vehicles and E-bikes

Learn more about electric cars and e-bikes, including how and where to charge them and the rebates available. Local experts will have different models available for you to check out courtesy of Brentwood Cycles and E-motive BC.
