REZONING APPLICATION – 1183 VERDIER AVE. (Bylaw No. 2194) 
LOT 1  SECTION 10  RANGE 1W SOUTH SAANICH DISTRICT  PLAN 29747

The District is considering a REZONING for a six-storey affordable rental housing project consisting of 110 residential units and commercial space. This letter is to notify you that Council will consider First Reading of a bylaw amendment to permit increased height, density, and reduction in parking.

AND FURTHERMORE, TAKE NOTICE all noted Bylaws may be inspected, and other information related to these bylaws, may be reviewed until July 8, 2024 excluding weekends and statutory holidays, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at Municipal Hall, 1903 Mount Newton Cross Road. 

HOW TO PROVIDE INPUT

  • Written enquiries and comments submitted by mail or email received by 12:00 pm on July 8, 2024, will be included in the revised meeting agenda.  All correspondence submitted will form part of the public record and may be published on a meeting agenda. Comments may be submitted by the following:

Under Provincial Bill 44, the District is prohibited from holding a public hearing on this matter.
