Repairs to stormwater drainage on Mt Newton Cross Rd at St Stephens Rd will take place on:
August 12 to 14, 7am-4:30pm - Rae Leigh Place to Thompson Place, single lane alternating traffic
*August 13, 8am- 2pm - FULL closure
Please use an alternate route during this time.

Mt Newton Cross Road at St Stephen Road is now open thanks to temporary repairs. Please drive slow over the gravel. The road will be repaired this summer. Thank you to residents and motorists for their patience, and the crew for the fast fix!

Mt Newton Cross Road at St Stephen Road is closed until further notice as part of the road has been washed out.
The scope of the repair includes replacing a failed concrete culvert. St. Stephens Road can be accessed from the east (Saanichton side).
Repair is expected to take most of this week, please use an alternate route until we can safely reopen the road.
