Construction of a brand-new splash pad is underway at Centennial Park. The project will be completed in time for the warmer months of 2025, when we’ll be ready to turn on the water and welcome everyone to come cool off and enjoy this fantastic new addition.
The water features include a variety of interactive water play elements fun for children of all ages and abilities. Water is pumped through decorative structures which children can either stand under or run through. The water play area will have no standing water, creating lots of fun with less worry. Most importantly, the new splash park is completely wheelchair accessible.
The new splashpad is part of the District's ongoing efforts to enhance recreational facilities and provide high-quality amenities for residents and visitors. Centennial Park's new feature is expected to be a popular spot, offering a refreshing and fun way for children to stay active and cool during the warmer months.
