Residents interested in running for local office in the 2026 General Local Election are invited to attend a candidate information session jointly hosted by the Town of Sidney, the District of North Saanich and the District of Central Saanich.
The session is designed for prospective candidates and anyone interested in learning more about local government. Participants will receive information about the nomination process, the roles and responsibilities of elected officials, and key election timelines.
