Details: The Canadian Police Memorial Ride to Remember is a police-sanctioned, escorted memorial ride that honours police and peace officers who have died in the line of duty. Taking place from September 24 to 27, this moving memorial on wheels leads up to Police & Peace Officers’ National Memorial Day, observed on Sunday, September 28. On Saturday, September 27, the ride will travel through Central Saanich. While this is not a race, brief traffic delays may occur as the group passes through.

Traffic will be impacted with periodic delays through some neighbourhoods of Victoria, Esquimalt, View Royal, Colwood, Langford, Metchosin, Highlands, North Saanich, Central Saanich, Saanich, and Oak Bay. We thank all road users for their patience. In Central Saanich, Wallace Dr, Garden Gate, Benvenuto, West Saanich Rd, and Old W. Saanich will be impacted from 9:00 am – 11:30 am; two-way traffic is allowed. Map

Details: The IRONMAN 70.3 Victoria bike course is a single loop! Beginning at Hamsterly Beach, athletes will ride through four municipalities. The course will include three stocked aid stations, and safety will be ensured by local police, professional traffic control personnel and volunteers.
