Traffic Advisory - 2026 Road Races/Permits

On September 26, 2026, the Ride to Remember will travel through Central Saanich as part of a province-wide fundraising event that honours fallen members of BC police agencies and supports the BC Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation. Riders will be accompanied by support vehicles and police motorcycle escorts, who will briefly stop traffic at intersections to allow the group to pass safely. This will be the eighth year the ride has passed through Central Saanich.

In Central Saanich, West Saanich Rd and Old W. Saanich will be impacted between 9:00 am – 11:30 am.

The  Victoria Half Multisport Festival will take place on Sunday, July 12, between 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
Motorists travelling through Central Saanich may experience minor traffic delays during this time. Please use caution, follow directions from traffic control personnel, and allow extra travel time if you are travelling in the area.The bike course is along West Saanich Road, Wallace Drive, Stelly's Cross Road, Veyaness Road, Keating Cross Road, Brookleigh Road and Oldfield Road.While no road closures are planned, traffic control personnel and the Central Saanich Police Service will be on-site to support traffic management and public safety.
