The final piece of the 2017 watermain replacement project will begin the week of November 27 on West Saanich Road, between Sluggett Avenue and Carriage Lane.
The installation of a new watermain is expected to continue until February or March. Construction work will occur from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., subject to weather and daily activities. The project is necessary as this watermain has reached the end of its lifecycle.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane and there will be delays for pedestrians and cyclists as well. Please give yourself extra time and drive slowly in construction zones.
