Starting this month, C-1 Contractors will begin upgrading the sewer pump (lift) station at Silverdale Place, near Wallace Drive and West Saanich Road, as one of the final pieces of the Brentwood Sewer Project.
What to expect
- Work will take place during regular daytime hours
- Minor traffic interruptions with single-lane alternating will occur
Why this work matters
Lift stations help move wastewater efficiently through the sewer system—especially from lower to higher ground. Upgrading this aging infrastructure will:
- Improve reliability for homes and businesses
- Reduce the risk of sewer main breaks or sewage overflows
While much of the work happens underground, these upgrades are an important investment in keeping our sewer system safe and effective for the future.
