BC Ferries will begin maintenance work at the Brentwood Bay ferry terminal on January 13, through February 2025. Work will take place Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm., with occasional evening work (from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.) to minimize ferry disruptions. Nearby residents may experience increased noise.
There will be a reduction to the Brentwood Bay terminal vehicle holding capacity to facilitate construction activities, and traffic patterns may also be modified. Additional traffic control will be in place to assist with managing overflow traffic on the roadway.
We ask all travellers to follow the direction of staff, signage, and traffic control attendants, and encourage foot passengers to arrive earlier than usual for their intended sailing.
