| Candidate nomination period | September 1–11, 2026 To help ensure your nomination package is complete and ready for filing, we encourage all prospective candidates to book a nomination package review appointment with Elections staff to submit their documents. During the appointment, staff can review your nomination package with you, confirm required forms have been completed, verify that your nominators meet eligibility requirements, and answer any questions you may have about the filing process. The required solemn declaration can also be taken by our Chief Election Officer at in person appointments during this time. Appointments will be available both in person and virtually, at select times, from September 1 to 11. |
