A member of the Creating Homefulness Society has confirmed what has been reported by a local news outlet that the Woodwynn Farm property will be placed up for sale.
The news report states that the financial backers are withdrawing their support given the recent ALC decision not to permit additional farm worker housing on the property and this will necessitate the sale of the property.
The District and Council remain supportive of rehabilitation facilities provided they are zoned appropriately and meet building codes. The District and Council have the utmost respect for the participants at Woodwynn Farm and the society’s goal of providing more addiction rehabilitation options.
