Good weather is helping with road restoration on the Brentwood Watermain Replacement Project. Motorist are likely to have noticed that paving operations have been restarted from their winter maintenance closures, with sections of West Saanich Road south of Brentwood Bay being paved March 12 and 13. This work is planned to continue until March 15 to restore the asphalt in the Roundabout, providing that rains remain modest to allow for paving. Final concrete repairs have been completed, leaving only minor clean-up of construction material and boulevard repairs.
The work north of the roundabout on West Saanich Road is also proceeding with the good weather. Those concrete repairs are to take place March 14, and will be followed by paving along the new curb section soon after.
